Kirkwood, CA. Took us about 3.5 hours to get there from Cupertino.
Left home at 5:20 and got there 8:40 non stop driving. Put kids in school and we just skied. Nice powder. Some challenge slope up and lift is relatively non congested. 69buck for adult ticket and 100bucks for kid school all day.

Did not need chain to get there.
