Rain in July. Record showed the last time we had rain here on 07/18 was 50 years ago. In SF, it would been more than 100 years ago.

No wonder road is all soapy from all the carwash residue.

Was good for plants though.

Spartacus 1960 Stanley Kubrick. Love the scene when they all they say they are the one...
DVD had some retouched color and looked good. $20.

Coit Tower. Telegraph Hill in S.F. Good view but could not find where the parrot is...

Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant-noriega Dim Sum.
2578 Noriega St
San Francisco, CA 94122 map
good. would go there again.
サンセットという町中からはちょっと離れたところにある飲茶。なかなかおいしかった。
熱いものは熱く、かっらとしたものはからっとでてくるのがいい。味の素も少ないような気がする。
$33 for four.

Italian 2007. It has nothing to do with Italy. Cold, dirty Russian movie and was good. The kid's acting is amazing. When he go to the old address and try to sleep at old man's couch... Amazing acting (or not) and scene. $15.

SFMoma museumstore in SFO.
I usually end up buying something there. Funky design objects at reasonable prices.

Went to some rich guys house on top of Los Gatos.
Great house, good food and amazing view.
He owned so much space that I did not even want to bother to understand in my scale.

Pan's Labyrinth 2007.

Nice. Watched thinking it was for kids with kids but it was not. Baaad ass captain!
But story and visual effect was nice. Beautiful scenes. $12.

Unleashed (or called Danny the Dog) 2006. By ultra combo of Luc Besson and Jet Li. It was a bit tough to see Jet as a young boy but it was good. Luc should stick to these fun action movies. The one I saw was called unrated, but was pretty [R] to me. $8.

d&dparment store in Tokyo.
A half retro half creative store. Now Colette in Paris and Idee in Tokyo became pretty typical, this became my top five store on this planet. Love that recycle spirit.

Tokyo Mid Town. In the middle of Roppongi, where defense deparment used to be, they build a huge commercial buidlings. Including is the Ando Tadao's Origami like museum. They are all OK and somehow they all use space nicely and big which is unlike other tight Japanese store. Nice to stroll at summer night, no mosquito since it is middle of city. Would go there again soon.

Sailing Shoreline Class. Took one and since I knew kind a how to wind-surf, it was easy. Want to take kids with me next time. $200 for 2 days. Give me my money back ;-)

Michael Phelps, Olympic Swimmer. Saw him at Santa Clara Meet. About 4 sec before anybody so he get to swim on calm water. Amazing.

PanTao Restaurant in Sunnyvale. Dim Sum. Second time threre, hoping this time would be better but was a bit too greasy and price was not as cheap. Dynasty would be better. No more. $38.

Dreamgirls. I usually do not enjoy musical movie, like Chicago was baaaad, but this one I could endure it.
Story wise, just typical and nothig special. $7.
