老鄧坦担麺 Tantan noodle in Taipei. It is off the main street near Zhongxiao Dunhua. Go a few block on north and there is a small shop like this. Tantan noodle that I know is soup based but ones they have is dry based in sesame paste with a bit of hot oil. Clerk tells me to eat quickly but could not make out his english to why? Anyway, I like it. Thick paste and thick noodle goes well. A bit like eating noodle with peanut butter. Kind a strange combination but that is kind a food I look for when I travel=strange combination that you do not see at your home country.
