I read real name is Supreme Master Ching Hai Vegetarian House. As the name represent this is very religious driven foundation. And deco is funky. But who cares as long as it is good. As for taste, this is Vietnamese base international food. They do from spaghetti to spring roll. We had fresh spring roll, chicken teriyaki, fried shrimp, salad, fried rice and some more but I forgot. Not sure they use MSG or not but all food was a bit oily and MSG-ish. But since no meat was used, you kind a feel lite and good after eating it. Not sure I would go again but not that bad. $110 for seven. Funky very SJ-ish joint to me.
I got this pic from one of car journalist who went for the opening of Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. According to the spec this is 1959 911 prototype. 911 came out around 1966 and proto was introduced around 1965 so, this was done 6 years before that. This pic shows pretty much all the detail for the 911 was done at this time already! This got a bigger rear seats but I am glad Porsche did not pick this as design direction.

Before I thought it as a fancy Stake house but it was a bit more than that. Many around here recommended but 8 month ago when I had a chance was all booked. Now booking was easier, thanks to the economy mood. The Chef is half Japanese and half something and we basically order whatever waiter recommended since it was our 1st time. Hamachi shot, good. Pop-corn crab, so so. Dry cured NY and T-bone was decent. T-bone was especially better. Risotto was OK too. Knowing how side dishes were interesting, next time we will try more sides and just order stake in the end to share. They had all sort of J beef but the price way up there. It would be nice to taste how they cook Matsuzaka or Kobe with their style. $250 for four.

Leonardo da Vinchi exhibit at Tech Museum in San Jose. Although it costed $25 per adult (AAA discount of $3), I think it was worth it. Kids even did the voice tour and they seemed to liked it. I learned things I did not know before like:
He started apprenticeship when he was 10.
Michelangelo and him were kind of competitor.
Leonardo could not complete the huge horse statue for duke of Milan and Michel address Leo as a man who could not build horse.
wonder where they go next.

Second Nature Exhibit by Tokujin Yoshioka at 21_21 museum in Roppongi Tokyo, Japan. It is collaboration among a half dozen creator but Yoshioka one is the best by far. I love his ceiling liners. As if you are walking among clouds... Sublime. When comes to this kind of scene, he would be the man to ask. I did not get too much of crystal accumulated arts. $10 or so to get in. Kids are free, so go show them the clouds experience.
Tatsunoya ramen in Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan. We ate one in Canal City where they have Ramen stadium. This place was voted number 2 out of 7 or 8 within the stadium. waited about 20 minuted in que and ramen was typical Hakata style=white pork bone and thin noodle which can be added later. Although the owner denies it is not Hakata style, it was plain nice Hakata noodle. They had Koku and Jyun. Koku is a bit thicker source but they were both good. If you go, go for just plain one $6.50.
Yoshitomi Sushi in Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan. No soy source on the table! All the Sushi is flavored by chef prior. No display style fridge but small wooden box with well prepped Sushis. $50 per head for Omakase style. It might be too light for those of you who would like to dip Sushi deep in to Soy but the way Yoshitomi prepped is the more close to original and preserved the each fish flavors higher. Not too good with kids and waiter is kind a useless but nice location, decent quality of food for $50. Definitely will visit again.

Nishi-Nagato resort in Yamaguchi Japan. Beautiful location looking over long bridge with nice sandy beach. Would have been nicer if we went there in summer when we could have dipped in the ocean. decent amount of food=not too much and wonderful room with huge window did for me. $150 per head with meal included. Would go there again.
