wow, stretch 356!! how, why...

I think Peter Zumthor is one architect I can think of which his creation goes so well with black and white photographs. We have been to his Vals spa in Swiss and it was so rich with grays it brew my mind.

Founder entire essay on treat yourself ones by Itoi:
I like 1101 phrase below. it is about treating yourself nice.

Alila Hotel in the Thailand looks brilliant. It came from hotel mag. and JIA Shanghai owner said something like, catchy hardware might attracts people in the beginning but what makes people return is the software=hotel service. I thought it was decent quote which can be applied to my daily practice as well.

Other list of hotels I would love to stay are:
Alila, Cha-Am, Thailand
Fullerton, Singapore
Sukhothai, BKK
Desa Seni, Bali
Desrt Palm, Dubai
Datai, Langkawi, Malaysia
Mercer hotel in NY
Trisara, Phuket
The Library, Koh Samui
X2, Kui Buri, Thailand
Delano, Miami
Hotel Bel Air, LA

just 2 cool.

Not many works are presented in the portfolio of Swedish designer, Charlie Davidson. But every piece of modern furniture he creates is a beautiful, ultra-modern masterpiece.

This weekend at Laguna Seca is Porsche fest. I have got to go.

It said this is wooden framed bike. Kind a nice and I think I like it more than Marc Newson's Biomega MTBs....
from web: More highlights from Sydney's WORKSHOPPED include this wooden-framed bicycle by Gary Galego.

nice two porsches.

European book collecting cool bikes for $80. I want one but I want to check inside 1st....

A little Art Center-ish and early 90's looks to it but nevertheless, nice bike design.

Nice food tray design by Milan-based Young Sang-Eun's cooling dish for champagne and food does double duty for soirees.

Little 007-ish and fabulous design.
From web:
Russian architects Arch-group and ABTB have completed the interior of Moscow’s electricity control room.

I dig this idea and design.

from website:
French designer Aissa Logerot's cool Halo light is for graffiti artists who want to use light and long-shutter photography instead of aerosol. Halo is shaped like a can of spraypaint, but features an LED light at the business end; the user can change the intensity and color of the light, and when it runs out of juice, there's a neat solution--shake the can vigorously to power up the battery.

Teague designed Pulse Bike. I dig.

Something about this 45 angle bent which I always like and someday would like to apply it on to my own design. this is one good sample although purpose as cloth hanger and becoming stick when not in use is questionable. i mean who would unfold it after use?
from web site:
Berlin-based designers Ett la Benn have created a clothes stand that unfolds into a pole when not in use.

Plant pot by Uli Budde. do not know what the bottom pool is for but I like this idea. filtered water for cat?

Audi designed grand Piano. Design looks a bit pragmatic and 3D software-ish. How the keyboard door opened shape intergrate with the main body=no good.
Colani did far more extravaganza ones.
